Since I really want everyone to see the story in the anime or the manga and not read it off some stupid blog (like mine) I am not going into it very much. When I heard that bokura GA ita had a manga, I immediately pushed my brother out of the computer chair and searched it. Emotionally seen it equals up with work of Makato Shinkai's Placed promised in our early days or Top wo Nerae (Eng: Aim for the top). After I finished watching the anime, I was still not aware of manga. Bokura ga ita (Eng: We were there) is the one of the most intense anime and also the best manga I have seen and read so far. The film was filmed in Sapporo, Hokkaido and in Tokyo.I think for my first post, I want to talk about a show that has really influenced me the past few days and will most likely haunt me the next months. In contrast, Bokura Ga ita will make you cry in a drama way. LoveCom will make you cry in a happy way. Whereas Lovely Complex is a Comedy, Romance. This is the hometown of Yuki Obata, the manga artist of Bokura ga Ita, the manga this film is based on. Similar characters but not the same, rather Bokura Ga Ita (We were there) is a drama, romance, and comedy.
The filming of Bokura ga Ita took place in Kushiro, Hokkaido. In addition, Sosuke Takaoka would play the role of Masafumi Takeuchi, Yano's close friend, and Yuika Motokariya would play Yuri Yamamoto, the younger sister of Motoharu's late girlfriend. Actress Yuriko Yoshitaka, the recipient of the Best Newcomer award at the 28th Yokohama Film Festival, would star as Nanami Takahashi, a classmate of Motoharu. Toma Ikuta, who previously starred in the films Hanamizuki and No Longer Human, would be starring in this film as Motoharu Yano, a boy who is popular with most girls in the class. The main cast of Bokura ga Ita was revealed on. In some moments this anime made my heart stop and gave me both incredibly sad and happy feelings.

It only covers the first third of the manga series or so, but it really has a lot of dept because it doesnt rush things ahead over several years.
Director Takahiro Miki directed the film, and film produced by Tomoko Yoshida. Bokura ga Ita features one of the cutest female protagonists ever, and one of the best romantic stories. Bokura ga Ita was first serialized in Betsucomi, and it won the 50th Shogakukan Manga Award for Shōjo manga.
